A reluctant cook and an avid foodie, that's how I will
describe myself. Cooking for me started out as a recreational activity and soon
it turned in a stress buster. I found it interesting and meaningful to enter
into the kitchen and create something new and something old as well!!
As I am not very fond of spending hours in front of the
stove, so I generally find shortcuts for a lot of recipes.
After a lot of research on the internet with respect to
traditional East Indian food and especially traditional Bihari fare I was
disappointed. Not a lot of us Biharis and Jharkhandis blog about the food
cooked at our homes. It is distinctive and is mostly very old-fashioned. In
this Blog I will, share with such traditional Bihari dishes and also my innovations
with the ingredients so innocuously lying around.
I am not a fancy cook but would like to learn some fancy
cooking on my way......
